Before embarking on his journey with Ca’Mea Restaurant in 2002, Roy was in the fashion industry spending 30 plus years as a hair stylist and co-owner of three successful salons on Madison Avenue in New York City.  Roy’s passion for design and dedication to perfection have come to life in every corner of the hotel.  He took his dream and transformed it into reality by not only designing but also physically building The Howard Hotel from the ground up.  His attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that your stay with us will be nothing short of extraordinary.

Ca'Mea Restaurant, which closed it’s doors on December 31, 2023 is a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit, it brought success that led him through twenty years in the hospitality industry. A vision that took form in 2016, Roy made the strategic decision to acquire what is now known as The Howard Hotel.
